June 4, 2007 BFGoodrich Tires Wins Round Three of Formula Drift Series -“Crazy Swede” Hübinette Takes Victory at Summit Point Raceway - GREENVILLE, S.C. - BFGoodrich Tires out performed the competition last weekend during round three of the 2007 Formula Drift Championship at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. Samuel “The Crazy Swede” Hübinette (Mopar/BFGoodrich Tires) took first place while Kazu Hayashida (Signal/BFGoodrich Tires) of Team Signal qualified 12th and advanced to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.

May 29, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Gears Up for SCORE Baja 500 BFGoodrich® Tires, the official tire sponsor for the SCORE International Off-Road Racing Series, is geared up for the 39th annual battle of speed and lunacy, otherwise known as the SCORE Baja 500. This is the third race in the SCORE Desert Series and is widely regarded as the perfect precursor to the king of all off-road races, the SCORE Baja 1000. Besides navigating hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain at a white-knuckle pace, off-road competitors also have to overcome logistical conundrums, wandering livestock and traps set by devious spectators. Racers don’t run the SCORE Baja 500 for the prize money or television exposure. The vast majority of entrants compete strictly for fun and bragging rights and BFGoodrich tires has been the choice of champions for more than 30 years.

April 24, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires-Shod CORR Series Drivers Come Up Big Winners at Season Opener BFGoodrich Tires continued its off-road supremacy this past weekend as the 2007 Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) series kicked-off in Lancaster, Calif. While several entrants left the season opener with their hopes dashed, drivers on BFGoodrich Tires were clearly the exception. BFGoodrich Tires-shod drivers won every race in the Pro-4 and Pro-2 classes, capturing six victories overall and scoring two runner-up finishes in the Pro-Lite class.

March 13, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Take the Top Spot at Rally Norway Mikko Hirvonen (Ford/BFGoodrich Tires) surprised the competition last weekend by winning the WRC's newest round, the Rally Norway. The youngster led from flag to flag, while fellow Finn Marcus Grönholm was powerless against his teammate's superiority but managed to secure a maximum point haul for BP-Ford as compared to a single point for rivals Citroën. The French team (Citroën/BFGoodrich Tires) had a bleak weekend with Sébastien Loeb (14th) and Dani Sordo (25th) both going off on day 2. Henning Solberg (Ford/BFGoodrich Tires) profited from the final day to steal third place from his brother Petter (Subaru/BFGoodrich Tires) and made it an all-Ford/BFGoodrich Tires podium.

March 13, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Blankets the Podium at Swedish Rally After a somewhat disappointing season opener at the Monte Carlo Rally, Marcus Grönholm (Ford/BFGoodrich Tires) retaliated in style in temperatures that dipped as low as 15°C while keeping a blistering pace over the Värmland's snowy lanes to capture the fifth Swedish Rally win of his career last weekend. The victory was also his 26th overall, a mark that ties him with Carlos Sainz as the second most successful driver in WRC history, but he is still three wins short of Sébastien Loeb.

March 11, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Featured on 2007 Ridler Award Coupe After more than two years of creative trial and error and more than 10,000 man-hours of work, renowned custom car builder Troy Trepanier captured the coveted Ridler award at this year's 2007 AutoRama® custom car show in Detroit, Mich. The awe-inspiring 1936 three-window Ford coupe affectionately known as “First Love" bested eight other vehicles nominated for this prestigious award and emerged the winner in ceremonies held Sunday night at Cobo Hall. The award, geared to honor new creations, is only eligible to cars making their world debut at the event.

January 21, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Sweep the Podium at Monte Carlo Rally After a four month absence, Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena (Citroën/BFGoodrich Tires) bounced back into the competitive arena by securing their fourth Monte Carlo win at the wheel of a brand new car, the C4 WRC. Dani Sordo and Marc Marti (Citroën/BFGoodrich Tires) finished second and were joined on the podium by the 2006 Monte winner, Marcus Grönholm (Ford Focus/BFGoodrich Tires) who finished in third. Also running on BFGoodrich tires, the Subaru Impreza put forth an impressive battle with the 2006 Manufacturers title-winning Fords throughout the event.

January 18, 2007 BFGoodrich® Tires Names Marty Fiolka 2006 Motorsports Person of the Year LAS Vegas - BFGoodrich® Tires, building on a tradition it started in 2003, has named Marty Fiolka as the BFGoodrich Tires Motorsports Person of the Year. The award annually recognizes the contributions of teams, drivers and officials in each of the racing series that BFGoodrich Tires competes. Fiolka was honored for his extraordinary contributions to off-road motorsports, especially his efforts away from the dirt. He was presented the award during the 2007 Off-Road Impact Trade Show & Conference.
